Thank you for visiting the Region 5 Training Council Website. 

The Region 5 Training Council was developed to support criminal justice and public safety agencies in Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath Counties with training to enhance public safety.

Region 5 Training Council maintains a strong relationship with the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST), as well as California and Nevada Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).

Our Mission is to; "Provide low cost quality public safety training to large and small public safety agencies in Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath Counties"

Region 5 Training Council has a wide range of participating public agencies, including:

  •       Police Officers and Sheriff's Deputies

  •       Corrections Deputies

  •       Adult and Juvenile Parole and Probation Officers

  •       Telecommunicators
